About the role:

Are you a highly motivated, analytical thinker with a passion for data and women's health? Unfabled is seeking a well-rounded Data Scientist to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of female wellbeing. As an early member of the data science team, you will be responsible for driving forwards the data vision of our company, contributing hands-on expertise, and guiding the development of our AI-powered solutions. This is an exceptional opportunity for a visionary data scientist who is excited about making a meaningful impact on a greenfield team in the femtech industry.

💪 We are looking for a Data Scientist who will:

    • Data Analysis: Analyse datasets to derive signal and actionable insights & trends related to women's health and user behaviour on our platform.
    • Experimentation: design and run experiments, working to help create a data flywheel to improve both the scale of our data and the signal derived from our data.
    • Data Collection and Cleaning: Collect, process, and clean data from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity.
    • Hypothesis Testing: Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and make data-driven recommendations for product enhancements.
    • Applied Machine Learning: Use machine learning techniques to solve complex problems related to women's health, such as predictive diagnostics, personalised recommendations, and more.
    • Data Visualisation: Create meaningful and informative data visualisations to communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Predictive Modelling: Develop predictive models for women’s health outcomes, user engagement, and other key performance indicators to optimise our services and products.

✅ Your Profile

    • A Master’s degree or higher in a related field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a similar discipline.
    • At least two years commercial experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and machine learning, with a track record of delivering solutions with impact into production environments.
    • Proficiency in Python, and experience with relevant libraries and frameworks for visualisation, data analysis and machine learning.
    • Experience with data manipulation and querying languages, such as SQL.
    • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
    • Strong communication skills to explain complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Knowledge of the healthcare and/or femtech industry is a plus, as is experience in regulated businesses.
    • Experience with sound software engineering practice, either directly or from working closely with a team delivering working software is a strong plus, as is any experience with data engineering or MLOps best practice.
