Overview:
As a Senior Sales Engineer at OctoML, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer adoption of our GenAI infrastructure/SaaS solution. Reporting to our Chief Marketing Officer, you will engage directly with customers, using your technical expertise to facilitate sales through a refined technical selling process. Your contributions will be key in making this process more repeatable and scalable.

Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to the SE team's success by aligning with the Pre-sales and Sales goals defined by leadership. Focus on efficient execution of these strategies to enhance team performance.
    • Work towards meeting or exceeding individual KPIs aligned with the organization's sales objectives.
    • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
    • Offer insights and expert advice in sales discussions and customer account reviews.
    • Share valuable feedback to refine processes and inform the Product and Go-To-Market teams.
    • Work alongside other specialists and teams at OctoML to maintain alignment and share best practices.
    • Tailor solutions based on customer needs and effectively communicate OctoML’s value proposition, emphasizing unique differentiators.
    • Demonstrate the ability to present complex solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of relevant experience in Pre-sales, preferably within a startup environment.
    • Experience in the AI/ML sector
    • Operational expertise to identify and fill process gaps.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, driving initiatives independently.
    • Extensive experience in presenting solutions and interacting with clients.
    • Subject matter expertise in AI, especially Generative AI, is highly desirable.
$155,000 - $200,000 a year
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our company's size and industry and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at OctoML. In accordance with pay transparency laws, OctoML is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity. This is a reasonable estimate of the current salary range. We expect most candidates to fall in the middle of the range. We also believe that your personal needs and preferences should be taken into consideration, so we allow some choice between equity and cash.
