WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:
The Senior AI Developer leads and advises clients on the planning, delivery, and management of innovative AI technology initiatives. This role collaborates with Industry and the Sales Optimization team to help develop business development opportunities and will be part of engagement teams to design and deliver technology capabilities. This role requires crafting and being able to code software solutions that addresses client concerns but also integrates automation and the latest in LLM technologies.

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU'VE ALREADY DONE:
Leads the solution development projects for clients for AI/ML project work
Serves as our client’s expert leader through all phases of a project. Operates effectively with senior leaders at our clients
Serves as a subject matter expert in the application and deployment of semantic search and generative AI architectures for firm and client work
Develops innovative software solutions and delivers client billable work in the context of technology-related consulting, build, and delivery and maintaining a utilization percentage
Identifies potential risks, develops mitigation strategies and recommends key decisions for projects in areas of AI/ML
Builds and manages stakeholder relationships, including business partners, users, vendors, customers, project and program team members, and management leaders
Provides oversight to other team members for project work
Communicates clearly and proactively to project team and client stakeholders
Actively engages in business development efforts by joining various calls, joining pursuit teams and preparing business development collateral, meeting with their network and discussing Point B value proposition
Builds relationships through exceptional client service delivery and maintains relationships to support Point B business development
Listens for client needs and can speak to Point B capabilities (services, products, etc.) at a high level.
Effectively leads project teams; facilitates team progress, makes effective decisions, communicates clearly and provides timely feedback
Supports team effort and builds authentic relationships with individuals in work groups and teams
Proactively seeks ways to supports team members and help other associates and clients achieve their professional goals
Contributes knowledge and experience to the development of the Tech Build Team
Consistently demonstrates and lives Point B cultural tenets and values
B.A. or B.S. or equivalent in a quantitative subject (computer science, engineering, mathematics, sciences, economics, etc.), or significant, comparable work experience
5+ years or more years of experience developing software solutions for business users, including all aspects of the software development life cycle
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP and their AI/ML services
Knowledge of data storage and processing technologies (e.g. Vector stores (Chroma, pgvector, Azure Cognitive Search, Pinecone, Supabase, etc.), Hadoop, Spark, BigQuery, Redshift and various NoSQL and SQL databases
Proficiency with development libraries such as Langchain (Python or JS), fixie.ai
, llama index, etc.
Experience in the usage and implementation of semantic search
Familiarity with various foundation models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Vertex, Open Source, etc.)
Understanding and experience with basic generative AI architectures, e.g., retrieval augmentation, question/answering
Familiarity with both agile and traditional software development practices
Ability to travel to client site up to 25%
Ability to work from home
Ability to work non-standard work hours as necessary

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The estimated salary range for this role is $126,000 - $201,500 USD per year. This salary range is provided as required by local and state law as applicable. Individual salaries vary on a number of factors including but not limited to geography, skills, education, experience and unique qualifications where applicable.
Bonuses are awarded at Point B’s discretion and are based upon individual contributions and overall firm performance.
