The Opportunity: 

We are seeking a talented and ambitious senior engineer for the role of Principal Software Engineering (PSE) at Observe AI. In this role, you would define software architecture, develop technical strategies and roadmaps, and drive innovation and experimentation to identify new opportunities for growth and improvement. You will mentor and coach senior engineers to promote a culture of technical excellence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define high-quality software products and services.

What You Will Do as a Principal Software Engineer :

Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in software engineering, including emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks, and make recommendations for their integration into our platform.

Who you are :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on architecting and building highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and distributed systems.
Extensive programming skills in multiple programming languages, such as Java, Python, or Go.
Proven experience in software architecture and design, with a deep understanding of advanced software design patterns, principles, and best practices.
Experience leading and mentoring teams of highly skilled engineers, with a focus on promoting technical excellence and innovation.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for solving complex technical challenges, with a focus on innovation and experimentation.
Expertise in cloud-native technologies and architectures, such as Kubernetes, and serverless computing, with experience deploying and managing large-scale applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong knowledge of modern data stores and distributed systems, such as Apache Cassandra, and Apache Kafka with experience designing and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available data-intensive applications.
Deep experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot or Node.js, with a focus on building modern web and mobile applications.
Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development, with a focus on identifying new opportunities for growth and improvement, and continuously learning and experimenting with new technologies and techniques.

About the ML Team: 

We are a strong 25-member Machine Learning team with a focus on Speech, NLP, and Data platforms. Our main research focus is to drive the contact centers using AI which leads to improving operational efficiency, customer experience, and compliance. Our Machine Learning team pushes the boundaries in understanding the nuances in the conversation AI by processing millions of calls per day and empowering the call centers to improve efficiency.

The Speech team focuses on Speech Recognition, Speaker Diarization, and Speech Signals to understand the nuances in the behavior of the agents. The ML team is at the forefront of publishing our research in international conferences such as Interspeech, Icassp, ICML, and EMNLP AACL, and we encourage our research in the same.

Apart from work, the team loves to collaborate on research initiatives, present the initiatives/findings in internal/external tech conferences, participate in hackathons, and have formal/informal gatherings.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)/DevOps Engineer to join our team. As an SRE/DevOps Engineer at Observe.AI, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. You will work with cutting-edge technologies, including Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.), and infrastructure automation tools to streamline our operations and drive continuous improvement. About the role
As Software Development Engineer 1 (SDE1), you will be building a scalable, secure, and multi-tenant cloud platform for near real-time as well as non-real-time processing/reporting/analyzing of data for interactions(calls/email/chat). You will use state-of-the-art cloud computing technologies. You will be dealing with huge volumes of data and creating systems that would be able to scale heavily with growing needs. You will be working with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineers.

What you’ll do day to day as a Software Development Engineer in Test I

    • Work closely with developers to test and automate the testing of the product
    • Create Test plans and suites, and implement test scripts to increase test coverage on the product
    • Work with customer success and product teams to replicate post-production release issues, and locate the root cause 
    • Work with other members of the SDET team to improve the code via code reviews and implement different kinds of test automation
    • Own the sign-off on certain features, while working with a larger team to ensure the overall features are released on time,  without bugs 
    • Estimate time for various tasks and execute within the timeline
    • Be the voice of the customer on the team, championing decisions that will help the customer experience

What you’ll bring to the role

    • Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject 2+ years of Product testing and Automation experience
    • Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Java)
    • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms and coding best practices
    • Strong expertise in automation and manual testing of APIs, UI, and database 
    • Must have prior experience in creating optimal test strategy (Including Functional, Non-functional, Analytics, and automation) and test plans for short-term and long-term projects both
    • Excellent  communication skills, able to work well with multiple stakeholders

We are seeking a Sales Engineer at Observe AI. In this role, you will be responsible for our growth as we build upon the success we’ve had delivering for our top tier clients. What you’ll do day to day as a Sales Engineer

What you’ll bring to the role

What we are looking for:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines from a top-tier institution with exposure to ML/ DL/ NLP.
    • 5+ years of industry experience in building large-scale NLP systems.
    • Strong understanding of the fundamentals of ML and NLP, and practical aspects of building ML systems in production; backed by extensive hands-on experience in building/ scaling customer-facing ML/ NLP applications.
    • Good understanding of recent trends in NLP around transformers, language models, text classification, generative approaches for NLP, prompting techniques, question answering, information retrieval, etc.
    • Excellent implementation skills in Python and Machine Learning Frameworks such as Pytorch, Tensorflow, HuggingFace, etc., and deploying/ maintaining machine learning models in production.
    • Ability to provide thought leadership in one or more technical areas of interest to Observe.AI, and influence product development

The Opportunity: 

We’re looking for a Senior Implementation Engineer(Sr. IE) to join our Integrations Team within the Customer Success organization at Observe.AI. As an IE, you will work with our recently closed customers and ensure that our customers are implementing optimal workflows and integrating smoothly with our AI platform; this includes spearheading conversations about deliverability, API, and CaaS architecture with customers at various levels of a company. You will be responsible for making sure every task and project you work on is done within a timely manner and leads to a successful onboarding to help accelerate value and conquer change management. This position will work closely with Implementations, Success, Engineering, Sales Engg & Product and is ultimately the main person responsible for technical conversations with newly onboarded customers.

What You Will Do as a Senior Integrations Engineer :

    • Communicate Observe.AI’s infrastructure and technology to customers
    • Plan and Execute Integrations with OAI for the clients to understand their CCAAS setup and data export mechanisms
    • Handle Complex Integrations independently
    • Interact with clients directly and drive technical discovery calls
    • Perform Level 2 support and triage of client technical issues and create detailed engineering tickets outlining reported problems
    • Oversee the planning, tracking, and completion of the customer integration process for technical configuration
    • Write scripts following best practices, logging and also should be able to deploy, set alerts, and monitor the jobs
    • Handle Escalations and provide timely solutions
