Overview
We're seeking a highly motivated and talented Data Scientist with a strong focus on Machine Learning to join our team. As a Data Scientist focussed on blockchain data, you will play a critical role in developing innovative data analysis techniques, and leveraging machine learning algorithms to derive valuable insights. The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in statistics, programming, and data analysis, coupled with a deep understanding of various machine learning algorithms and techniques. If you are passionate about solving real-world problems using data-driven approaches and have a proven track record of applying machine learning to derive meaningful insights, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
• Proactively identify opportunities where data can enhance our understanding of Blockchain.
• Develop and optimize deep learning models to support the core of our data science processes around clustering and entity attributions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and business teams to identify problems and formulate data-driven solutions
• Analyze large, complex blockchain datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can be leveraged to drive decision-making
• Develop, implement, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems, leveraging algorithms such as regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and data preprocessing to prepare datasets for model training and validation

Requirements
• Have ideally at least 7+ years of experience
• Degree in a technical or quantitative discipline, such as Engineering, Computer Science,  Statistics, Mathematics or related fields
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, such as regression, classification, clustering, natural language processing, deep learning, and reinforcement learning
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark)

$175,000 - $225,000 a year
Compensation
The base salary pay range for this position is $175,000-$225,000 annually. Base salary may vary depending on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and stock options may be provided as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Overview
As a member of the engineering team, you will be responsible to help us propel our current platform with AI-centric solutions. This is an on-site role and the expectation is that the engineer would work from office 3 days a week. The engineer in this role will be responsible to work with the product team while proposing and implementing AI capabilities using data across heterogeneous sources, leveraging machine learning modes including LLM, NLP, and similar modern AI tools to process unstructured/structured data. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a new generation of machine learning pipelines that will enable real-time analytics/insight discovery for our users. 

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with product and other cross-functional teams to research and propose feasible AI capabilities for the product
• Build and maintain the infrastructure to test, train, deploy, and scale new models or fine-tune pre-trained off-the-shelf models
• Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines that will power the front-end capabilities of our product
• Research and propose ideas on incorporating structured and unstructured data from heterogeneous sources to improve the effectiveness of the models
• Be curious about the latest developments in the field and actively leverage any necessary improvements that would benefit the overall effectiveness of the product and user experience

Requirements and skills
• Proven experience as a Product focussed Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
• Prior experience building new Product Experiences powered by AI
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
• Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics, and algorithms
• Ability to write robust code in Python (and in Java/Typescript is a plus)
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch/HuggingFace/TensorFlow) and libraries (like scikit-learn)
• Strong communication skills to work closely with Product Lead and other stakeholders to translate Product needs and explain technical concepts
• Bachelors in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar field; a Master’s degree is a plus
